I was sent on a last minute business trip to Santiago. VT was more then willing to work with me to put together a customized backpacking trip to fill up the weekend during my stay in Santiago. I went to Yerba Loca Valley, Central Andes, Santiago.

They were very accommodating and made the entire experience very pleasant. What probably stands out the most is the food that the guide prepared. It was made with frsh ingredients, not the standard dehydrated backpacking food I am used to.

A year later I still get cravings for the chicken and pasta dish that was served.

I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with VT.
