DAY 01(Thuesday - Sunday)
Santiago- Balmaceda- Puerto Chacabuco
Reception at Balmaceda Airport and transfer to "Hotel Loberías del Sur", located in Puerto Chacabuco. To get there you have to cross part of the austral route at the Aysén region, passing the beautiful city of Coyhaique. During this tour you will enjoy a small sample of the impressive landscape that is a part of “Cordillera de los Andes at the Chilean patagonia.
Arrival at Hotel Loberías del Sur having the beautiful bay of Puerto Chacabuco as scene. This is the hotel you will stay during the three nights.At noon, a welcome Dinner, including appetizer.
DAY 02 (Friday - Monday)
Visit to private Park “Aikén del Sur”
At 09:00 am, a bus is going to take you from “Hotel Loberías del Sur”, for 15min across a way of singular beauty , up to coming to the final destiny: the recent inaugurated “Private Park Aikèn del Sur “In it, you will initiate an expedition in that you will combine the adventure, the contact with the virgin nature of the patagonia, the emotion and the exquisite food of the zone. (lamb barbecue – Asado Patagón). “Private Park Aikén del Sur “offers natural beauties as Lago Riesco´s rivera. Lake of 14km of surface, of calm waters and of blue transparent color, a water fall of 22mts of height, native forests of everlasting species, humid species as ferns.
The park is implemented with a great infrastructure for the comfort of its visitors. This consists in: A Visitor Center equipped with hygienic services for women and men and disabled persons, a first aids room, a shop of crafts and interactive exhibitions of the flora, fauna and anthropology of the region.A bilingual guide will be with you during the tour, three Natural Paths ,equipped with special pavements, gangplanks, railing, bridges, viewing-points and rests that will tell the geographical bio-history of the place across educational stations. In them you will enjoy the wonderful seen to the lake, hills, river and mountain . Likewise during this tour you can be a witness of the singing and proximity of Chucao and Hueta, some of the birds that live in at the Park.
A “Quincho”, typical construction of the zone, which has a central barbecue where the traditional Patagonian lamb is roasted, a bar to taste the welcome Pisco Sour and the most exquisite Chilean wines. Capacity 140 persons. Also this place provides you higienic services for ladies, mens and disabled persons, and crafts shop. After this lunch, you will be able to walk at the other two paths and after that the transfer will take you to the hotel “Loberías del Sur “where you will rest of a day full of unforgettable experiences and adventures. You will take part of a pleasing dinner in our hotel.,all that accompanied by the most exquisite products of the sea and national wines. Overnight.
DAY 03 (Saturday - Tuesday)
San Rafael Glacier
At 8:15 am you will be a part of an unforgettable voyage on board of the “Catamarán Iceberg Expedition” with capacity for 70pax, that will take you across islands, channels and Patagonian fiords, until comes to the Laguna San Rafael .The quietude of its 170 km, the floating floes and the snowdrift with its constant and thunderous detachings of ices of thousands of years are the principal attraction of the tour.
On board of our zodiacs you will meet moreover nearby to the snowdrift San Rafael and the numerous floes that float around it. At the end of the excursion you will be able to enjoy an exquisite whisky thousend-year-old ices that date
back of more than 20 000years. The anchorage will be among 2 to 3 hrs to begin the return to Puerto Chacabuco, place where you will come aprox at 09:30 pm. Transfer to our hotel and overnight.
DAY 04 (Sunday - Wensday)
Return to Santiago After resting at the comfortable hotel Loberías del Sur , and as soon as you have had breakfast, we will lead you to the airport to take your flight.End of our services.
