The Hostel Patagonia Andina is located on Morales 564, only three blocks from the Civic Center. This location lets you be close to the downtown and commercial center but set aside from the major streets, guaranteeing a peaceful visit
Known through out South America as 'Albergues' (al-BAIR-gays), hostels are temporary lodging where you can find everything you need to get to know the region.
As such, their principle objective is to provide temporary housing for travelers and students from around the world who are looking for a comfortable and economic way to explore new places.
Rooms:
The rooms have one, two, four or six beds, all of which have central heating and windows.
In the large kitchen you can find every utensil you'll need to cook and to eat, including an oven, range, refrigerator, freezer and personal storage space for non-perishable foods.
The bathrooms, are all complete and have hot water 24 hours a day.
The living room/dining room has a large table for dining, playing cards or planning your next excursion, a television with cable in a comfortable, cushioned corner, a stereo and a fireplace (complete with firewood) to be enjoyed by comfortable couches.
There is also a library including several sources for tourism both in the area, the country and the continent, plus guides and maps which are very helpful in planning excursions. For those who enjoy literature, there are several titles from different genres and different languages awaiting, including a book swap. Also you may enjoy our large selection of board games.
In the back patio you can hang wet camping gear, store bicicles, or even make delicious barbeques.
On the front lawn you can relax and enjoy the sun or simply sip 'mate' at dusk. If you decide to go on multi-day excursions you can leave your unneeded equipment at the Hostel at no extra cost. Finally, the Guest Book is available to all who wish to leave their messages, or simply read the messages that others have written of their experiences.
